Do you know anything about the origin of this vintage toy truck?  If so, please reply.

In 1968, the 682-2137 phone number on the truck was registered to Ontario & Georgina Zanetti of Dominico Street. Ontario, ”Spag” was listed as a storeman at Inco (warehouse worker). In 1956, twelve years earlier, Ontario's occupation was listed as "trkr" at the CC Smelter ... he may have been a trucker before moving into the warehouse.

Ontario & Georgina only had one child ... Terry Zanetti, a local insurance guy. I suspect that this truck was a custom ordered child's gift ... or it was modified at the sign shop next to the warehouse!

You should call him up ... and let him know that you found his truck!! :)

P.S. The current owner of the truck (Jeff) spoke to Terry, the son. “This toy truck was given to him when he was a kid, painted for him. He had it in storage with a friend, and the ‘friend’ ended up selling all his stuff. He described the truck in detail and it will be returned to him in the near future.” Thank you all for your help, what a wonderful outcome.
